2048 Game

A redesigned mobile app version of 2048 with new features for better user experience.

The classic 2048 game is a popular math puzzle game enjoyed by many users worldwide.

However, the current versions, both web and mobile, lack several features that could enhance the user experience.

Problem

The existing versions of 2048 do not offer additional features like a leaderboard, light/dark mode, sound controls, or an undo option, limiting the customization and engagement potential for users.

Direction

To address these gaps, I redesigned the 2048 mobile app, introducing new features to improve user experience and engagement.

My Responsibility

Research: Analyzed the current web and mobile versions of 2048 to identify improvement areas.
Design: Created new UI designs incorporating the additional features.
Prototype: Added interactions to the prototype to showcase the new functionalities.

Light/Dark Mode: Switch between light and dark themes for comfortable gameplay at any time.
Sound On/Off: Turn game sounds on/off to suit user preferences.
