Existing microphone apps have several strengths but also notable weaknesses. 

To address these issues and enhance user experience, we developed microPhone. 

Problem

Users experience issues with existing microphone apps, such as:

  • Delay with Bluetooth speakers
  • Poor echo cancellation
  • High-pitched noises and feedback
  • Unclear trial agreements
  • Excessive ads

The final design of microPhone includes

  • Swipe Controls

    Adjust the mic volume by swiping up and down.

  • Connectivity

    Buttons for Airplay (or Bluetooth for Android).

  • Sound Effects

    Various sound effects with default modes and custom options.

  • Echo Cancellation

    Enhanced echo cancellation mode for meetings or announcements.
